A Message from the President

Hi everyone!

My name is Hannah Yoon, and I’m truly honored to serve as president of Chi Alpha Delta this year. On behalf of Chis, I’d like to welcome and thank you for stopping by to learn more about our sisterhood!

When I first came to UCLA as a freshman, I wasn’t entirely sure if joining an Asian sorority would be for me. I did, however, see it as an opportunity to meet new people and decided to rush just for the experience. Looking back now, I can say without a doubt that joining Chis has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in college. I feel like I’ve truly found my place here, and this sisterhood has given me friendships that feel like family. Some of these girls are the kind of friends I could spend hours talking with, see myself staying close with for years to come, and feel completely at home around.

A lot of my favorite college memories have been with Chis—whether it was spontaneous trips to Koreatown for food, spending late nights together chatting, visiting cafes, going on long road trips, or socials. These experiences have made my college years so much more meaningful, and I know they’re memories I’ll always cherish.

Joining Chis has not only given me a community to be a part of but has also shaped me into a stronger, better version of myself. I’ll forever be thankful for the love, support, and lifelong memories that Chi Alpha Delta has brought into my life. I can’t wait for you to meet the incredible women who make this sisterhood so special. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
