A Message from the President
Hi everyone!
My name is Francesca Ryu, and I’m truly honored to serve as president of Chi Alpha Delta this year. On behalf of Chis, I’d like to welcome and thank you for stopping by to learn more about our sisterhood!
When I first came to UCLA as a clueless freshman, I didn’t even know Asian sororities existed. Joining one wasn’t in my plans at all—I honestly didn’t have high expectations and thought it would just be a way to meet new people. But looking back now, I can say without a doubt that joining Chis has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in college. I feel like I’ve truly found my place here, and this sisterhood has given me friendships that feel like family. Some of these girls are the kind of friends I’d invite to my wedding, people I’ll keep in touch with for life, and even travel buddies I know I can visit all over the world.
A lot of my favorite college memories have been with Chis—whether it was getting hyped at tailgates, sisterhood picnics, grabbing lunch on campus, trips to downtown LA, fun beach days, cafe hopping, long road trips, or socials. These experiences have made my college years so much more meaningful, and I know they’re memories I’ll always cherish.
Joining Chis has not only given me a community to be a part of but has also shaped me into a stronger, better version of myself. I’ll forever be thankful for the love, support, and lifelong memories that Chi Alpha Delta has brought into my life. I can’t wait for you to meet the incredible women who make this sisterhood so special. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Xoxo ♡,
Francesca Ryu
